From 20-27 January 2023 we’re partnering with anti-trafficking charity Restore Glasgow for a week of creative prompts around the title Hope Restored.
If you are a poet, a songwriter, an artist or someone who would love to have a go at making a creative response to an issue of injustice, then please join in! There are two ways to get involved:
If you are around Glasgow then we’d love you to come to our launch night on Friday 20 January for an evening of live music, poetry and refreshments where you can find out more about the project. Book a free place on Eventbrite so we know to expect you. If you’re not able to attend on the night you can still join in during the week – every day for the next seven days we’ll schedule an online prompt for the following 24 hours. Everyone then has 24 hours to create a response – a poem, a song, a piece of art, an article, a video, a cake, an ice statue, anything you like – and post a photo of it on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook using the hashtag #hoperestored23. You can do one day, seven days or anything in between. For more information, make sure you’re following the hashtag #hoperestored23 on social media.
